Sea turtles have navigated the world's oceans for over 100 million years, making them one of the oldest surviving reptile lineages on earth. They return to the exact beach where they hatched to lay their own eggs — navigating thousands of miles of open ocean using the earth's magnetic field as a map.

There are seven species of sea turtle, all of which are listed as vulnerable, endangered, or critically endangered. Leatherback sea turtles dive deeper than any other reptile, reaching depths of over 4,000 feet in pursuit of jellyfish.

They are ancient, precise, and extraordinarily resilient.
